We're passionate about vintage items. 

We take neglected gems from the past and restore them to their former glory. Having grown up with a fascination for all things mechanical as well as a keen interest in American culture, the opportunity to source and revitalise vintage items is one that we couldn't pass up.

What's involved in a restoration?

Our restorations vary from a simple clean and polish, to a complete breakdown and rebuild. The first thing we do is speak with our customer to understand their expectations of the project. 


Some like to keep the patina to add a bit of character to the machine, while others prefer the battered and bruised old machine to look just like it did when it first left the factory all those years ago. 


If required, we can completely break down the machine, strip all the parts and start from scratch. 


This process can include :

  • Blasting and repainting 
  • New insulation
  • Installation of a fresh refrigeration system
  • Powder coating of the internal refrigeration space
  • Zinc coating the smaller metallic items
  • Replacement of stainless steel screws, nuts and bolts 
  • New electronics and wiring
  • Chromework for the coin entry plates

We do as much of this as possible in-house and use our trusted specialist partners for blasting and painting, chrome plating and zinc treatments. 

There is no price-list for our restorations as every machine is different, with its' own unique character and challenges. Similarly, each customer we meet has a different expectation of what they would like the finished article to be.
